Mobile Water Supply

South African municipalities contribute approximately 27% of total water usage in the country. Municipalities are challenged by complex factors which hinder adequate provision of basic level of water supply.

Greware provides an integrated water supply solution to enhance potable water provision to needy urban and rural communities. This is fulfilled through the provision of a mobile water solution as a water supply intermediary.

Our mobile water supply is provided through two approaches:

• Mobile water purification units

• Water tankers

Mobile water provision is a simplified integrated urban water supply management system which provides water treatment through a mobile membrane-based water treatment facility and transported to consumers through fit-for-purpose water tankers. The system is a convenient form of water provision as water is delivered to consumers at acceptable quality and required quantity.

Our feed water is sourced from local municipality authorised sources and from presecured surface and groundwater sources authorised by relevant authorities.

Mobile Water Purification Unit

A mobile membrane filtration system is a decentralised form of water provision which requires limited infrastructure for water provision. This process allows water to be treated from the nearest water source and be transported through water tankers to consumers.

A typical mobile water purification unit is mounted on a trailer or at the back of a truck.

This service is best for use with:

• Rural communities

• Urban water-scarce communities

• Small to medium industries

• Manufacturing

• Mining environment and communities

• Retailers

• Hospitality industry

• Any other water usage

A Water Tanker

Once water has been purified and rendered potable, it is fed through our fit-for purpose water tankers. These are then used to deliver the water to the relevant communities ensuring a convenient access to quality and safe water.

Our fleet consists of trucks with 20 000 and 10 000L water capacity.

These are equipped with pumping, metering and conveyance pipes for water delivery.
